Our goal is to ensure that no one faces a crisis alone by bridging the gap between physical rescue and spiritual healing.

Mission Statement for Clergy CDC - Comfort During Crisis ©

The mission of Clergy CDC is to provide immediate, compassionate, and holistic support to individuals and communities experiencing crisis. Through the mobilization of trained clergy and intercessors, we aim to offer not just spiritual comfort and counseling, but also essential life-saving assistance in collaboration with first responders.

We train our volunteers in Life Support, First Aid, and CPR to ensure they can contribute effectively to the safety and well-being of those in distress. By integrating our faith-driven support with critical care skills, we seek to offer hands and feet of divine comfort, making a relevent difference in moments of profound need.

Vision Statement for Clergy CDC - Comfort During Crisis

Our vision is a world where no one faces crisis alone, but are supported by a community of spiritual caregivers who offer comfort, healing, and hope when they need it most.

Mobile Clergy Unit Deployment
Clergy CDC deploys faith-led mobile response teams to provide immediate spiritual,

emotional, and physical support during crisis situations such as natural disasters,

violent incidents, overdoses, and community trauma. These trained clergy and volunteers

serve as frontline responders offering prayer, crisis stabilization, trauma-informed care,

spiritual first aid, and essential supplies, often arriving before or alongside traditional

emergency personnel. Our presence not only brings tangible relief, but also ministers hope,

peace, and restoration in moments of chaos.

Training and Certification Programs
We equip both clergy and community volunteers through certified training in First Aid, CPR, Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS), and Narcan administration, preparing them to act swiftly and skillfully in critical moments. Each training integrates faith-based principles and harm reduction strategies, ensuring that responders are not only clinically competent but spiritually grounded. This empowers churches, nonprofits, and outreach leaders to serve safely, effectively, and legally in high-risk environments.

Crisis and Post-Crisis Counseling
Our chaplains and certified crisis counselors provide compassionate, confidential support for individuals, families, and communities navigating traumatic events. Whether responding to grief, violence, sudden loss, displacement, or substance-related crises, our counselors offer biblical comfort, mental health first aid, and post-incident spiritual care. Ongoing follow-up services are available to support long-term healing and resilience.

Strategic Partnership with First Responders
Clergy CDC maintains active collaboration with local EMS, law enforcement, fire departments, hospitals, and emergency shelters to provide wraparound support during critical incidents. By bridging the gap between public safety and pastoral care, we ensure that victims and families receive holistic, whole-person support—body, mind, and spirit. Our presence also offers emotional and spiritual reinforcement to first responders dealing with secondary trauma.

Harm Reduction
Our outreach teams engage in daily mobile patrols to identify and assist at-risk

individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use, or mental health crises.

These patrols include health screenings, first aid, Narcan administration and distribution,

and delivery of critical supplies such as hydration packs, electrolyte powders, hygiene kits,

food, shoes, and socks. We also conduct preventive education, community prayer walks,

and resilience-building workshops to strengthen neighborhoods and reduce future crises.

Through consistent presence and practical love, we build trust where it’s needed most.

Community Education
We engage with communities through ongoing educational programs designed to build resilience and prevent crises. Our initiatives include:

  • Victim Support Assistance: Partnering with law enforcement and victim advocacy groups to provide support for victims of crime, domestic violence, and other traumatic experiences.

  • Youth and School Programs: Offering counseling, support, and education to students and staff affected by violence, bullying, or other crises.
